Some key information before we get started...
I find that my music is best suited to smaller weddings of 200 or less, indoor or outdooor.
I play mostly my original music but will learn up to 3 cover songs (pricing per song tbd in our consult.) Note that not all songs lend themselves well to acoustic covers by a solo artist and not all songs mesh with any given artist's voice.
I can provide my own sound system and require only a power source near the location I will be playing from. My set up is: Two 800 watt speakers on stands, one 350 watt monitor, one small 6 channel mixing board, one SM58 Sure microphone and stand. I can provide another mic and stand for the officiant if you wish you use my sound system for the ceremony itself.
I perform solo, supported by banjo and guitar though I can sometimes provide a duo or a trio with upright bass and an additional guitarist upon availability. (Pricing tbd)
An example of a typical wedding package I can offer would be:
- One hour of streamed music from a personally curated folksy wedding playlist played over my PA while guests are seated
- I play/sing a live original song while the wedding party walks
- I play/sing a live requested cover song while the bride walks
- I play/sing one hour of live original songs and some covers during cocktail hour after the ceremony
- after cocktail hour music is taken over by a DJ or larger wedding band
